We uploaded a video clip of the sketchbook performance “Das Schicksal des H.D.” (The fate of H.D.) we did at the Kunstverein Hannover. The concept is a collaborative effort by Markus Färber, Sebastian Dürer, Lea Heinrich, Fabian Hilbich, Aisha Franz and Peter Miksch. The performer is me.

It’s snowing in whole Germany like in the old days when we were young and built snow caverns. So on Sunday, when I was visiting my family, we created a snowman in my parents backyard.

The beloved rotopol people are doing an exciting exhibition in their headquarters in Kassel / Germany. The topic is RUSSIANS and they gathered about 40 illustrators from 9 different countries for this group show. I expose a selection of 3 small sketches with the titles “My favourite … is Russian”.
You can see the exhibition till January 28th 2009 from Monday to Saturday from 10a.m. to 6p.m in Kassel, Friedrich-Ebert-Str. 95. Admission free!

Our class of illustration of the Kunsthochschule Kassel has constructed this amazing 4 x 4 x 1 metre installation made of cardboard and wood (title: “Das Schicksal des H.D.”). The exhibition PLATTFORM #5 is running since yesterday to Sunday November 9th at the Kunstverein Hannover where the art school is showcasing itself.
In the inside of the gigantic head lives a masked guy who’s the guardian of a bunch of original sketchbooks. You can watch the masked guy presenting the holy sketchbooks to the audience for 1 hour: this Friday at 16.00 at Kunstverein Hannover! … If you read this blog continuously, probably you know the guy behind the mask very well …
